Morgan Spurr is a production designer based in Los Angeles, with an MFA in Production Design from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Originally from Southampton, NY, Spurr also holds a BFA in Fibers & Textiles from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she specialized in fine art textile design, focusing on beading and embroidery. Her textile work has been exhibited internationally.
Spurr's passion for cinema and storytelling was sparked at a young age, inspired by her yearly attendance at the Hamptons International Film Festival with her grandmother. These experiences taught her the power of weaving narrative into visual art, which she now brings to her work in production design.
Her background in patterns and textiles, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, allows her to create colorful and intricate sets that enhance the storytelling process. Spurr has worked as a production designer on numerous music videos, short films, and an indie feature, always striving to develop cohesive visuals that support both the characters and the director's vision.
